Great Southern TAFE has partnered with universities across Australia to provide flexible and alternative pathways into a broad range of undergraduate degrees

Mature Age Students

  • Come away with two qualifications in the same amount of time it would take to complete a four year university degree
  • A year's credit towards an undergraduate degree means big savings in HECS fees
  • A combined TAFE/University education will make you highly competitive in the job market because it combines practical hands on experience with theory and in depth knowledge.
  • Many of the UniLink degrees are available externally and on a full or part time basis, which makes it easier to fit around family and work commitments
  • A higher level qualification can secure you a well paid industry based job, a promotion, or launch you into a whole new career!
  • Maybe you've already completed a TAFE qualification - if so, contact us to find out if you can credit or entry into a university degree program.

Student Testimonial

"The opportunities for advancement in my chosen career of Aged Care have been enhanced since doing my training.  The TAFE training has given me the confidence to continue my nursing training, and I am now studying for a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) through Curtin University!"
Sue Banks, TAFE Diploma graduate

Note: Entry into certain Diplomas may in some cases require pre-requisites.
Credit details: The universities listed in this document have entered into credit arrangements with Great Southern TAFE. This does not preclude students from applying to other universities, however they will need to negotiate their own credit arrangements.
