Business and Creative Industries

Diploma of Accounting

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to record and create manual and computerised summaries of the financial transactions of a business or other organisation. Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become an assistant accountant, bookkeeper or senior financial clerk.

Duration:

1 semester

Minimum Entrance Requirements:

Successful completion of Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) or equivalent.

Advanced Diploma of Accounting

This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge in accounting.  This qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a qualified accountant for a diverse range of modern business organisations.

University Pathways:

By completing the Diploma and/or Advanced Diploma of Accounting, you will be eligible to gain advanced standing in the following degrees:

Bachelor of Business - Southern Cross University

Bachelor of Business - University of New England

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) - University of Southern Queensland

Bachelor of Commerce - University of South Australia

Bachelor of Commerce - Curtin University

Bachelor of Commerce in Management - Murdoch University
